Excitement and Excellent 👌

July 24, 2024

Upon my cousin’s recommendation due to my sister’s vegetarian diet, Raku was a must-visit during our Las Vegas family trip. Renowned for its homemade tofu dishes, Raku exceeded expectations. Located slightly off the strip, Raku is a popular spot, necessitating reservations which proved wise as it was fully booked upon our arrival. Parking can be challenging, but our Lyft ride mitigated any inconvenience. The dining experience was satisfying with good food and service. Opting for the premium and deluxe omakase, including the deluxe version with crab and A5 wagyu on a hot stone, was well worth the $30 upgrade. We also enjoyed several tofu dishes, shrimp, and salmon collar, all generously portioned and flavorful. With a total bill of approximately $500 for five diners, inclusive of two omakase experiences, seven dishes, and drinks, the expense was reasonable given the quality and quantity offered. Raku’s off-strip location proved no deterrent to its culinary excellence.

In addition to the omakase, the regular menu items, including fresh and flavorful sashimi, ensure a satisfying dining experience for all guests.

Great Experience

July 1, 2024

The dining experience was superb, marked by exceptional food quality and flavors that surpassed expectations. Every dish was a delight, particularly when complemented with the green tea available at each table. We followed a suggestion to pair it with the homemade tofu, enhancing the flavors with each bite. Service from our waiter was outstanding, with clear explanations of any menu queries. While some may find it pricey, the experience justifies the cost. Concerns about portion sizes were unfounded; each dish provided ample servings of high-quality food, leaving us thoroughly satisfied.

Amazing

Due to its size, reservations are crucial at this smaller restaurant. The food quality is excellent 👍🏼, particularly noteworthy with the soft and fresh tuna sashimi we ordered. The fried ice fish was a delightful accompaniment to sake.

Good services!!!

The dining ware and sake glasses used as decor were exceptionally beautiful. The bathroom featuring a fish tank added a unique touch to the ambiance. The food itself was delicious; I especially recommend the inoki mushroom wrapped with bacon, butter scallop paired with white rice drizzled with butter sauce, truffle oil tuna, and A5 wagyu. While the premium omakase seemed pricey at $150 and left me wanting more, every dish was flavorful and enjoyable. I might opt for a la carte selections on my next visit.
